SPORTFIVE markets the World Rally Championship
The 2010 World Rally Championship season will kick-off in February with a spectacular winter rally in Sweden. The world’s leading rally series will again see stages in all continents on different surfaces and conditions. After a total of 13 rallies the FIA will crown the WRC champion at the big season finale in Great Britain.
Four different show formats will be the key television product over the year. In addition to the blockbuster shows, ‘WRC Daily Highlights’ and ‘WRC Event Highlights’, two more formats have been added. While ‘Rally World’ will focus on action in the Junior and Production Car events, the ‘WRC Shakedown’ will be the intro to each rally weekend and focus on the teams, drivers and events.
